One of the state’s oldest cities, Jacksonville is a major port and commercial center that straddles the St. Johns River an reaches east to the Atlantic Ocean.

Jacksonville includes the communities of Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, and Mayport.

St. Johns County has something for everyone. Whether its the 42 miles of expansive beaches, the history lesson come to life in old St. Augustine or its reputation as America’s first romantic destination.

While the county is known as the home of the oldest city, it is also planning for a wealth of new development in the coming years.
